Frequently asked questions

What sizes do the drive-up units come in?

Most drive-up units at Siyata Storage in Rockport, TX are 10x10s, 10x15s and 10x20s, which have room for furniture, appliances and boxes together. The smaller drive-up sizes start at a 5x5, about the size of a large closet, which holds boxes and a few small things. Our size guide shows what fits in each size we rent.

What keeps well in a drive-up unit?

Tools, garden equipment, outdoor furniture, bikes, fishing gear, building materials and most hard goods are all at home in a drive-up unit. Paper, photographs, upholstery, mattresses, wood and electronics are what people most often keep in a climate-controlled unit. Renting one of each and splitting your things between them works too.

Do drive-up units have the same gate hours as the rest of the site?

Yes, the gate runs 5 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, on your own code, and it works the same way for every unit on the property. The phone is separate from the gate: Emilio answers it from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Saturday.

Is a drive-up unit the same thing as an outdoor unit?

People use both words for the same thing here, and we call ours drive-up. It means the door opens onto a concrete drive aisle, so you park at your unit door and unload straight into the unit. The unit itself is an enclosed room with a roll-up door.
